About the Department
The Department of Civil Engineering was established in November 2021. The first batch of students was accepted in the academic year 2021-2022 as a means to receive the Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering.
Designing and building infrastructure for urban complexes is a primary civil engineering task. Civil engineers use their knowledge of mathematics and physical sciences to develop ways to harness natural resources and the forces of nature to protect the environment and improve human well-being.
Civil engineering is a profession serving humanity as they are responsible for all civil infrastructure systems such as water supply and treatment facilities, waste handling methods, construction of roads, bridges, dams, communications services, railways and traffic regulation. The work of engineers leads to the improvement of public health and quality of life, and they have a direct impact on society and its ability to create a sustainable civilization.
The period of study is four (4) years and the language of instruction is English. Only graduates of the scientific branch, preparatory schools are admitted to the department.
