Translation Department, College of Languages, Nawroz University
The Department of Translation is one of the distinguished departments at University of Nawroz, known for its large student body, which reflects the department’s strong academic reputation and the growing interest in translation studies.
The program consists of eight semesters, during which students study the essential principles of translation in both literary and scientific fields. They also become familiar with various types of translation, including simultaneous and consecutive interpreting.
Through its highly qualified teaching staff, the department strives to prepare competent and confident translators who are capable of playing an important role in the field of translation, particularly from Kurdish-Arabic into English and from English into Kurdish-Arabic.
