This field and scientific visit organized for the third-stage students of the Psychology Department to Azadi Hospital was a highly valuable and enriching experience for developing their academic abilities. The greatest benefit the students gained from this activity was bridging counseling and theoretical classroom concepts with clinical reality and mental health, as it provided them with the opportunity to closely familiarize themselves with real-world cases of illnesses and the way doctors and psychologists interact with patients. Gaining insights into how diagnoses are made and how psychological treatments are provided within the hospital gave the students a new and clear vision of how to work as psychologists in the future. Ultimately, the views and opinions expressed by the students regarding this experience proved that this visit significantly raised their level of awareness and analytical skills, transforming their fears and hesitations about the practical aspect into a great passion for continuing research and studying psychology in a creative manner.
