Nawroz University Hosts an Academic Symposium Titled “Three Messages… One Goal: Women’s Health”

On the occasion of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Department of Psychology, College of Languages, Nawroz University, organized a scientific awareness symposium entitled “Three Messages… One Goal: Women’s Health” on Saturday, October 31, 2026. The event was attended by female students from the College of Languages, administrative staff, and several female faculty members from the college and university.

The symposium featured three main sessions presented by three specialized medical doctors. It began with practical training on breast self-examination and the importance of early detection, followed by a discussion of the psychological challenges faced by breast cancer patients and the importance of emotional and psychological support. The final session focused on surgical interventions and available treatment options for breast cancer patients.

The symposium aimed to raise health and psychological awareness among women, promote early detection, and emphasize the importance of integrating medical care with psychological support in the fight against breast cancer.
