On Wednesday ,4 February 2026, In the presence of University President Assistant Professor Dr. Mivan Arif Abdulrahman and Vice President Professor Dr. Muayad Aghali Mirza, Nawroz University—specifically the Colleges of Dentistry and Pharmacy—hosted a scientific symposium marking World Cancer Day under the theme "Hope, Progress, Coordination."
During the symposium sessions, a group of distinguished academics and specialists, joined by students from the two aforementioned departments, presented their topics and insights regarding cancer.
