On Monday, October 12, 2026, the College of Pharmacy at Nawroz University held a symposium marking the World Mental Health Day, to raise awareness of mental health and promote a multidisciplinary approach to mental healthcare.
The symposium was held in the presence of Prof. Dr. Muayad Aghali Merza, Vice President of Nawroz University for Scientific Affairs and Acting Dean of the Colleges of Dentistry and Pharmacy. Through a series of presentations, the event explores psychological wellbeing, mental health stigma, and the evolving role of healthcare professionals in improving patient care.
