On Monday, September 7, 2026, the Dean of the College of Law and Political Science at Nawroz University, Prof. Dr. Dilshad Abdulrahman Yousif, participated in a scientific workshop organized by the College of Law at the University of Duhok.
The workshop focused on discussing the future of the five-year study system in law colleges in the Kurdistan Region.
The workshop was attended by Prof. Dr. Aven Khalid Abdulrahman, Dean of the College of Law at the University of Duhok, and Assist. Prof. Dr. Hajar Jamal Yasin, Dean of the College of Law at the University of Zakho, under the title “Evaluating the Five-Year Study System in Law Colleges in the Kurdistan Region.”
The workshop aimed to evaluate the experience of implementing the five-year study system and assess its effectiveness in achieving its academic and professional objectives.
At the conclusion of the workshop, a set of recommendations and proposals was prepared to be submitted to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and other relevant authorities.
