On Sunday, 8 February 2026, the Department of Translation at the College of Languages at Nawroz University organized a seminar entitled:
“Investigating EFL Learners’ Perceptions of the Use of AI Language Tools: A Mixed-Method Study.”
The seminar was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Maryam W. Khalid, in the presence of a number of academics and attendees.
The seminar addressed several important themes, most notably: EFL learners’ perceptions of AI language tools, technology acceptance, personalized learning, immediate feedback, cultural appropriateness, and the role of artificial intelligence in enhancing English language learning.
At the end of the activity, the floor was opened for discussion and participants exchanged views, questions, and comments related to the topic.
