A scientific seminar will be presented by Assistant Lecturer Zirek Akram Jabbar on "A Comparison of Animal Symbols in Kurdish and English Proverbs" on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at 10:30 AM in FAQI TAYRAN Hall.
The main aim of the seminar is to compare the symbolic meanings of animals such as the fox, dog, bird, lion, and donkey in both Kurmanji Kurdish and English proverbs. By doing this, the seminar goal is to show how these two different cultures use animal figures to describe human behavior, share life lessons, and explain social rules.
