History

The establishment of the Medical Laboratory Department within the College of Science - Nawroz university represents a significant milestone in the development of health and scientific education. The department was established at 2024 - 2025 in response to the growing demand for qualified laboratory professionals capable of supporting healthcare services through accurate diagnosis, disease monitoring, and biomedical research.

Advances in medical science and the increasing complexity of diagnostic techniques highlighted the need for specialized education in laboratory sciences. As healthcare systems expanded and modern diagnostic technologies became essential components of patient care, universities recognized the importance of training skilled personnel in clinical laboratory practices.
