Assistant Professor Dr. Ismail Abdul Rahman Najmuddin A faculty member at the University of Duhok, College of Law, Department of Law. He specializes in the Jurisprudence of Personal Status (Fiqh al-Ahwal al-Shakhsiya). He obtained his PhD in the "Philosophy of Jurisprudence and its Foundations" from the World Islamic Sciences and Education University in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Faculty of Sharia and Law, on December 31, 2014. His academic career began in 1999. He holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Baghdad, College of Sharia, Department of Studies (1989), and a Master’s degree from the Arab League’s Arab Institute for Higher Studies in Document and Manuscript Verification, obtained on June 21, 2003. He previously worked as an Assistant Lecturer at the Duhok Polytechnic University, Akre Technical Institute, Department of Legal Administration, where he spent approximately eight years. He then transferred to the University of Duhok, where he attained the academic title of "Lecturer" on June 24, 2015, and the title of "Assistant Professor" on November 11, 2019, at the College of Law and Political Science.
