Biography
do this now: Rangeen Shihab is an Assistant Lecturer within the College of Engineering, serving both the Civil Engineering and Architectural Engineering departments. She holds a master’s degree in water resources engineering, with a specialized focus on Hydraulic Engineering.
Throughout her academic career, she has established strong research, publishing numerous scientific papers in various recognized local and international journals. As a versatile educator, she has taught a diverse range of foundational and advanced engineering courses across both departments, including Engineering Mechanics, Strength of Materials, Fluid Mechanics, Engineering Surveying, Engineering Hydrology, Environmental Engineering, and the Design of Hydraulic Structures. Her teaching methodology emphasizes linking theoretical engineering principles with practical, real-world design applications.
In addition to her instructional and research responsibilities, she actively contributes to the institutional and academic advancement of her college. Her extensive administrative involvement includes serving on multiple key scientific committees within the engineering field, such as Quality Assurance, Health and Safety, the Department Council, Graduation Projects, and Laboratory Management.
