Biography

DILOVAN ASAAD MAJEED is an Assistant Professor with the College of Informatics, department of IT at the Akre University for Applied Science and the College of Science, department of computer science at the Nawroz University in Iraq. He received his Ph.D. from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Malaysia. He has expertise in machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, medical image analysis, data security and the Internet of Things (IoT). His research interests are in the design of intelligent and secure computational techniques for addressing real-life problems in healthcare, cyber security and smart systems. Dr. Dilovan has published around 90 scientific papers, most of which are published in well-known journals indexed in Clarivate Web of Science and Scopus. He teaches various undergraduate and postgraduate courses: Data Structures, Algorithms, Data Security, Digital Multimedia, Image Processing, Web Technologies, Web Development, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. He is actively involved in the academic community as a reviewer for several international publishers and journals such as IEEE Access, MDPI, Elsevier, Wiley, Springer, and Tech Science Press. He has attended various national and international conferences and has ongoing research partnerships with researchers and institutions in several countries, helping to foster interdisciplinary research and international collaboration.
