Nawroz University Organized a Symposium Titled 'The Boundaries of Public Discourse Between Exercising Rights and Responsibility

On Wednesday, October 21, 2026, under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Law and Political Science, Prof. Dr. Dilshad Abdalrahman Yousif, the Department of Law at the college held a scientific symposium titled: "The Boundaries of Public Discourse Between the Exercise of Rights and Responsibility."

During the symposium, the religious, social, and legal dimensions of public discourse were discussed by a number of experts and specialists in Islamic studies and Yazidism, as well as sociologists and legal experts. At the conclusion of the event, all panelists emphasized that public discourse must serve as a tool for guidance and construction rather than a tool for incitement and disruption.
