The President of Nawroz University, Assist. Prof. Dr. Mevan Arif Abdulrahman, attended the postgraduate graduation ceremony for the 2025–2026 academic year at the University of Duhok on Wednesday, 23 September 2026.


The ceremony was attended by Dr. Ali Tatar, Governor of Duhok, Dr. Amir Chali, Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Dr. Sabah Wais, Advisor to the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, along with university presidents, faculty members, media representatives, and the families of the graduates.


During the ceremony, the University of Duhok celebrated the graduation of 526 postgraduate students from diploma, master’s, and doctoral programmes, marking an important academic milestone and highlighting the role of higher education and scientific research in developing qualified professionals and serving society.
