Five members of the teaching staff at Nawroz University participated in the Second Bamarni Cultural Forum

In an academic, scientific, and cultural atmosphere, the following esteemed individuals took part:

• Assist. Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman Abdulghafoor Shingali (College of Languages)
• Dr. Zhiyar Mohammad (College of Administration and Economics)
• Assist. Lecturer Shukri Mohammad Taha (College of Law and Political Science)
• Assist. Lecturer Rozhan Ahmad (College of Languages)

 The participants contributed through academic research and by moderating discussion panels during the forum, which was held under the theme ("Towards Establishing Sub-Identities in the Kurdistan Region to Strengthen an Inclusive and Unified Identity") on September 23 and 24, 2026.

It is worth mentioning that more than 60 research papers were presented, with over 600 attendees participating from various cities across the Kurdistan Region, Iraq, and abroad.
