On Saturday, 22 February 2025, and in the presence of the President of Nawroz University, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mevan Arif Abdulrahman,and hosted by the President of the University of Duhok, Prof. Dr. Dawood Suleiman, the College of Dentistry held a scientific forum entitled "Blood-borne Viruses in Dentistry: Risks, Prevention, and Safety" at Rahmi Hakkari Hall at Nawroz University. During the symposium, a number of specialist doctors and experts discussed at length the risks of these viruses, emphasizing the standards to combat communicable diseases and the importance of continuing education to protect patients and doctors alike.
