At Nawroz University, College of Administration and Economics, a scientific seminar was held on the issued currency threshold and the exchange rate gap in Iraq.

Today, September 15, 2026, at Nawroz University, College of Administration and Economics, a scientific seminar was presented by Dr. Akram Salih Yousif titled: Determining the Issued Currency Threshold under Electronic Platform Restrictions and its Impact on the Exchange Rate Gap in Iraq for the period (2022 – mid-2025), with several faculty members in attendance.

The seminar discussed how to determine the threshold of currency issued under the existing restrictions on the electronic platform and its impact on the exchange rate gap in Iraq during the period covered by the study. Key economic aspects related to this topic were also presented, and the relationship between the methods used on the electronic platform, the movement of issued currencies, and exchange rate developments was examined.

The seminar also witnessed an engaging scientific discussion among attendees regarding the main findings and conclusions of the study, along with the exchange of academic opinions and observations that could contribute to enhancing scientific research and improving economic studies related to the exchange market and monetary policies in Iraq.
