As part of its continuous efforts to support scientific research and provide academic solutions for environmental and developmental priorities in the region, Assistant Lecturer Imad Mohamed Amin Yasin, a faculty member at the College of Law and Political Science at Nawroz University, conducted a specialized study titled: "Groundwater and the Potential for Its Investment in Semel District".
The study aims to evaluate the current state of groundwater resources in Semel District and explore sustainable investment mechanisms to support the local agricultural and developmental sectors. It emphasizes the critical role of sound water resource management in addressing ongoing environmental and climate challenges.
