On 25 November 2025, after third-year students from the Department of Kurdish Language finished reading the novel Kusela: The Man Who Escaped Death by novelist Hassan Ibrahimi and engaged in discussions regarding its content, themes, and literary style, a group of these students, accompanied by the Dean of the College of Languages, Prof. Dr. Amin Abdulqadir, and the Head of the Kurdish Language Department, Dr. Barzan Mustafa, conducted a field trip to the historical sites of Qashefre village. The novel's protagonist experiences several intriguing adventures in this village, which lead him from a state of despair to a restored, hopeful life, eventually reuniting him with his family. The students sought to explore the author’s vision by visiting the actual locations where these events unfolded.
