On Wednesday, March 11, 2022, the Deanship of the College of Languages, in coordination with the Department of Kurdish Studies, organized a lecture by the faculty member (Hariwan Yousif Ibrahim) on "Ottoman Policy Towards the Kurds."
The lecture addressed the dimensions of the policies pursued by the Ottoman authorities toward the Kurdish people during their reign, and how they dealt with Kurdish emirs during that period. At the conclusion of the lecture, the floor was opened for discussion to the audience, who enriched the session with their interventions.
