On Sunday, June 28, 2026, Assistant Lecturer Sarav Jamal Yousif, a faculty member in the Department of Accounting, College of Administration and Economics at Nawroz University, delivered a scientific seminar entitled:
“An Analysis of the Impact of the Budget Deficit on the Growth of Public Debt in Iraq for the Period (2004–2025).”
The seminar addressed the concept of the budget deficit, its types, causes, and economic implications, with particular emphasis on its role in the growth of public debt in Iraq during the study period.
