Biography

Dr. Mahmood Ismail M. Said is a scholar, researcher, and practitioner in Landscape Architecture who holds a PhD in the field and specializes in sustainable design, environmental planning, and heritage conservation.

His interdisciplinary work focuses on creating inclusive, functional, and environmentally responsive built environments by integrating architecture, interior design, and landscape systems. Notably, his research has been featured in international platforms, including the "REAL CORP 2026 Conference Proceedings"—where he published on the architectural rehabilitation of Charasteen Cave under the UNESCO-EU MADAD framework—and the "Milky Way Scientific Journal" in 2025.

Through his active teaching, student mentorship, and scholarly publications, Dr. Said advances knowledge in universal design, cultural heritage management, and sustainable development, bridging the gap between theoretical frameworks and professional practice.
