Professor Ameen Abdulqader Omar is a distinguished academic specializing in Kurdish Literature, with extensive experience in higher education, research, academic leadership, and professional training. His core expertise lies in Kurdish literary criticism and Kurdish fiction, with research interests focusing on Kurdish narrative literature and Kurdish studies. He has authored several books and numerous peer-reviewed articles published in national and international scholarly journals. Professor Ameen’s scholarly contributions have led to international collaborations and specialized training at prestigious institutions, including the University of Cambridge (UK), UTAD University (Portugal), the University of Pavia (Italy), HAMK University (Finland), and several universities in China. His administrative leadership is highlighted by his six-year tenure as the Director of the Center of Languages and his current role as the Director of the Nawroz University Center for Pedagogical Training and Academic Development. He is also a member of the Editorial Board of the Middle East Journal of Social Sciences. Throughout his career, he has taught at the University of Duhok, the University of Zakho, Duhok Polytechnic University, Nawroz University, and Akre University for Applied Sciences.
