Biography
I currently serve as the Vice President for Administrative, Financial and Student Affairs at Nawroz University, Duhok, Iraq. I am an academic specializing in modern and contemporary Kurdish history. I hold a Master’s degree and a PhD in History, with my research focusing on Kurdish journalism, Kurdish national awareness, and the Kurdish-Armenian question.
My research interests include Kurdish history, Kurdish nationalism, Kurdish journalism, the development of the Kurdish alphabet, and the historical relations between Kurds and other peoples of the region. I have authored and contributed to several books and academic studies in these areas.
I am also involved in university teaching, research supervision, and academic activities. Through my research and publications, I aim to contribute to the study and documentation of Kurdish history and to the development of higher education in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
