"I am Omeed Mustafa Mohammed, an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at Nawroz University in Duhok, Kurdistan Region of Iraq, where I also serve as ICT Director. My academic background is in computer science, and over the years I have combined teaching with active research and real-world software development. My expertise lies in machine learning, deep learning for medical imaging, and educational data mining. I am particularly interested in explainable AI — I have worked on detecting oral cancer using transfer learning and Grad-CAM visualization, and on predicting student academic performance using machine learning models. My research has been published in international peer-reviewed journals and presented at international conferences. I teach Database Systems and Discrete Structures at Nawroz University, and I am also the founder of Web Gate, a software company through which I build practical technology solutions. I enjoy bridging the gap between academic research and real-world application. I actively contribute to the academic community through conference participation, collaboration with fellow researchers, and supporting students in their computing projects. I am currently pursuing further international research opportunities to grow my impact in AI and healthcare."
