Biography
Dr. Abdulrahman Abdulghfoor is an Assistant Professor and researcher specializing in Kurdish literature, with a particular academic focus on Kurdish novels and modern Kurdish poetry. He earned his Master's degree in Modern Kurdish Poetry from Koya University and his Ph.D. in Novel and Drama from the University of Duhok. His academic expertise encompasses modern and contemporary Kurdish literature, specifically Kurdish fiction, modern poetry, drama, and literary criticism. Dr. Abdulghfoor has published fourteen peer-reviewed research papers in scholarly journals both within and outside the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, addressing various artistic and intellectual developments in Kurdish literature. Among his significant achievements are his academic specialization in modern Kurdish poetry, the novel, and drama, as well as his analytical contributions to contemporary Kurdish literature. He actively contributes to the academic community through university teaching, supervising scientific research, and participating in international and local conferences. His published studies aim to enrich critical discourse and promote Kurdish literature within global academic circles.
