Biography

Rasheed Rebar Ihsan, is a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at Nawroz University, where he currently serves as the Head of the Department and Acting Vice Dean of the College of Science. He received his Bachelor's degree from Nawroz University and his Master's degree in Image Processing from Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), Cyprus. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Information Technology at Akri University for Applied Science. His academic interests include image processing, computer vision, metaheuristics optimization algorithms, cloud and fog computing, and information security. He has published several research papers in both local and international journals, covering topics such as image processing, optimization algorithms, cloud computing, and computer vision. During his academic career, he has taught a variety of undergraduate courses, including Programming Fundamentals, Digital Image Processing, Data Structures and Algorithms, Probability and Statistics, Computer Organization, Information Security, Databases, and Microprocessors. In addition to teaching and research, he has contributed to academic administration through leadership roles, scientific committees, quality assurance activities, curriculum development, and participation in conferences and professional workshops, supporting the continuous development of higher education and scientific research.
