Dr. Nasreen Ali is an academic at the University of Nawroz, Kurdistan Region, Iraq. She holds a Ph.D. in Public Policy and Development, with expertise in public policy,Political Thought, governance, public administration, strategic planning, and sustainable development. Her research focuses on policy analysis, institutional development, and the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in the context of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.

In addition to her academic career, Dr. Ali has extensive administrative experience in higher education. She served as the Rapporteur of the Department of International Relations at Nawroz University from 2012 to 2017 and was appointed Head of the Department of Political Science at Nawroz University in 2020. She has also been an active member of numerous scientific and administrative committees, contributing to academic quality assurance, curriculum development, and institutional governance.

Dr. Ali teaches courses in public policy,Political Thought, public administration, governance, and political science. She actively contributes to the academic community through research, academic supervision, conference participation, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Her work aims to bridge academic research and public policy practice while promoting evidence-based decision-making and sustainable development.
