Biography
Shamal Younis Yaseen is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of English at Nawroz University, specializing in English Literature. He holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) in English from the College of Arts, University of Duhok. With six years of teaching experience, he is dedicated to delivering high-quality education through student-centered instruction, critical thinking, and innovative teaching practices. His academic expertise includes English literature, literary criticism, drama, poetry, fiction, and literary analysis. His research interests focus on literary theory, drama studies, and contemporary approaches to education. Notably, his interests extend to interdisciplinary fields, exploring the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, and Information Technology into language and literature education. Throughout his academic career, he has contributed to curriculum development, assessment design, and quality enhancement initiatives. As a committed member of the academic community, he supports the quality assurance objectives of Nawroz University by maintaining high academic standards, fostering an engaging learning environment, and promoting continuous improvement in teaching, research, and academic service.
