Biography

Assist. Lect. Dr. Zhehat Abdulwahed Yaseen is a pharmacist and faculty member at the College of Pharmacy, Nawroz University-Duhok, in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. Dr. Yaseen holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy (2015) and an M.Sc. in Pharmaceutics (2026), both from the College of Pharmacy, University of Duhok, with a specialization in Pharmaceutics.

Dr. Yaseen's expertise covers pharmaceutical formulation, dosage-form technology, and quality assurance, built across academic, industrial, and entrepreneurial settings. Dr. Yaseen has published research on the effect of croscarmellose sodium concentration on tablet quality attributes in Pharmakeftiki (2026). 

Since 2019, Dr. Yaseen has served as Administrative Manager and Quality Pharmacist at Catheterization Laboratory (C.L.) Company. Dr. Yaseen also works as Consultant Pharmacist to Dasen Pharmaceutical Industries, advising on its product portfolio.

Dr. Yaseen is a Module leader for industrial pharmacy and biopharmaceutics, he also teaches Pharmaceutical Technology I theory and practical sessions and contributes to developing the overall curriculum. Dr. Yaseen's research focuses on solubility, solid dispersion and quality control.

Dr. Yaseen contributes to the academic community by modernizing lecture and laboratory materials and linking classroom teaching to current industrial practice and establish a student-centered environment. Dr. Yaseen also prepares pharmacy students for careers in pharmaceutical manufacturing and quality.
